The Hill Farming Act 1946 applies in accordance with the modifications in paragraph 33.

Section 23 (muirburn season) has effect as if—
a
in subsection (1), at the beginning, there were inserted “Subject to subsection (1A),”,

after subsection (1) there were inserted—

During the relevant period, a person may not make muirburn on land.

In subsection (1A), the “relevant period” means the period in which paragraph 33 of schedule 7 of the Coronavirus (Scotland) Act 2020 has effect.
