Article 3U.K.Animal health requirements concerning the origin and treatment of the meat products and treated stomachs, bladders and intestines

[F1The appropriate authority] shall authorise imports into [F2Great Britain] of meat products and treated stomachs, bladders and intestines that:

(a)

[X1comply with the conditions concerning origin and treatment set out in Annex I(1) or (2); and]

(b)

originate in the following third countries [F3or] parts thereof:

(i)

in the case of meat products and treated stomachs, bladders and intestines not subject to a specific treatment as referred to in point 1(b) of Annex I, the third countries [F4identified with the code “AP” in the table] in Part 2 of Annex II [F5, or any parts thereof that the Secretary of State, with the consent of the Scottish Ministers (in relation to Scotland) and the Welsh Ministers (in relation to Wales), may specify in a document published for the purposes of this point];

(ii)

in the case of meat products and treated stomachs, bladders and intestines subject to a specific treatment as referred to in point 2(a)(ii) of Annex I, [F6such of] the third countries [F7identified with the code “AP” in the table] in Parts 2 and 3 of Annex II [F8or any parts thereof that the Secretary of State, with the consent of the Scottish Ministers (in relation to Scotland) and the Welsh Ministers (in relation to Wales), may specify in a document published for the purposes of this point].
