17(1)As soon as practicable after the end of each financial year, the Authority shall send to the Secretary of State[F1, the Scottish Ministers and the Department of Justice] a report on the carrying out of its functions during that year.

(2)The Secretary of State shall lay a copy of each such report before each House of Parliament.

[F2(3)The Scottish Ministers shall lay a copy of each such report before the Scottish Parliament.]

[F3(4)The Department of Justice shall lay a copy of each such report before the Northern Ireland Assembly.

(5)Section 41(3) of the Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954 applies for the purposes of sub-paragraph (4) in relation to the laying of a copy of a report as it applies in relation to the laying of a statutory document under an enactment.]
