Disapplication of enactments

36.  The following provisions of the 1991 Act are disapplied in relation to specified works in specified streets—

(a) section 53 (the street works register)(1);

(b) section 54 (advance notice of certain works)(2);

(c) section 55 (notice of starting date of works)(3);

(d) section 56 (power to give directions as to timing of street works)(4);

(e) section 57 (notice of emergency works)(5); and

(f) section 66 (avoidance of unnecessary delay or obstruction)(6).
