Amendment of the Courts Act 1971

3.  In section 52 of the Courts Act 1971(1), after subsection (3) insert—

(3A) Subsection (3) does not apply to family proceedings (within the meaning of section 65 of the Magistrates’ Courts Act 1980(2)).
