27. In section 3A(1A) of the Electricity Act 1989 (principal objective and general duties of the Secretary of State and the Authority: interests of consumers) M1—
(a)omit “and” immediately preceding paragraph (b); and
(b)after paragraph (b) insert—
“; and
(c)their interests in the fulfilment by the Authority, when carrying out its functions as designated regulatory authority for Great Britain, of the objectives set out in Article 36(a) to (h) of the Electricity Directive.”.
