19. In section 77(1) (reference of contracts to rent tribunals and obtaining by them of information)—
(a)in the heading, omit “rent”;
(b)in subsection (1), for “rent” substitute “appropriate”;
(c)in subsection (2), for “a rent” substitute “the appropriate”.
Section 77(1) has been amended by Schedule 26 to the Housing Act 1980 (c. 51) and paragraph 23 of Schedule 17 to the Housing Act 1988 (c. 50).
