Amendments relating to eligibility for postgraduate doctoral loans

28.  In regulation 4 of the Education (Postgraduate Doctoral Degree Loans and the Education (Student Loans) (Repayment) (Amendment) (No. 2) etc.) Regulations 2018(1)—

(a)in paragraph (1), for sub-paragraph (a) substitute—

(a)is a full postgraduate doctoral degree course of at least three, but no more than eight, academic years’ duration;;

(b)in paragraph (2A), for sub-paragraph (c) substitute—

(c)of at least three, but no more than eight, academic years’ duration..

Paragraph (1) of regulation 4 was amended, and paragraph (2A) of that regulation was inserted, by S.I. 2020/48. There are other amending instruments but none is relevant.
