53.—(1) Commission Regulation (EC) No 798/2008 laying down a list of third countries, territories, zones or compartments from which poultry and poultry products may be imported into and transit through the Community and the veterinary certification requirements is amended as follows.
(2) In Article 1—
(a)in paragraph 1—

The commodities shall only be imported into Great Britain where standards and procedures that are at least equivalent to those described in Annex III have been carried out by the competent authority of the third country concerned or, where appropriate, by the relevant competent authority of Great Britain.”.
