This Act, apart from this section, section 250, 251 and section 255, shall come into operation on such day or days as the Department may by order appoint.

No order shall be made under subsection (1) in respect of Part 3 unless a draft of the order has been laid before, and approved by a resolution of, the Assembly.

Section 249 comes into operation on Royal Assent.
