Dental Charges (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2002

Coming into operation
The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety1 in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Articles 98 and 106 of, and Schedule 15 to, the Health and Personal Social Services (Northern Ireland) Order 19722 and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, with the approval of the Department of Finance and Personnel, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation, commencement and interpretation1

These Regulations may be cited as the Dental Charges (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2002 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2002.

In these Regulations “the principal Regulations” means the Dental Charges Regulations (Northern Ireland) 19893.
Amendment of regulation 4 of the principal Regulations2
In regulation 4(5) of the principal Regulations (calculation of charges) for “£360·00” there shall be substituted “£366·00”.
Revocation3
Regulation 2 of the Dental Charges (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 20014 is hereby revoked.
Application of regulations4
The amendment made by regulation 2 applies only in relation to the supply of any dental appliances or the provision of other dental services in pursuance of a contract or arrangement for the provision of general dental services, or services under a pilot scheme, made on or after 1st April 2002.
