The Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 2015 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2016
The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 2(2) of the Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 2015().
Those powers are exercisable by the Secretary of State by virtue of Article 4(1)(a) of that Order.
Citation
1. This Order may be cited as the Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 2015 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2016.
Provisions coming into force on 9th September 2016
2.—(1) The following provisions of the Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 2015 come into force on 9th September 2016.
(2) In Part 4 (other benefit changes), Article 75.
(3) In Part 6 (social security: general), Articles 117 and 118 for remaining purposes.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings into force Articles 75, 117 and 118 of the Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 2015. Article 75 relates to housing benefit and Articles 117 and 118 relate to sanctions for benefit offences.
