The Department of Health1in exercise of the powers conferred by section 90(2) of the Coronavirus Act 20202, makes the following order.

This statutory rule was made under a procedure whereby it ceases to have effect at the end of the period of 40 days beginning with the day on which it was made unless, during that period, the instrument is approved by a resolution of the Northern Ireland Assembly. It was not approved within that period and so has ceased to have effect.

Citation and commencement I11

This order may be cited as The Coronavirus Act 2020 (Extension of Powers to Act for the Protection of Public Health) (No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2023 and shall come into operation on 24th September 2023.
