The Provision of Early Learning and Childcare (Specified Children) (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Order 2021

Coming into force
The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 47(2)(c)(ii) of the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 20141, and all other powers enabling them to do so.
In accordance with section 99(2) of that Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.
Citation and commencement1
This Order may be cited as the Provision of Early Learning and Childcare (Specified Children) (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Order 2021 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

The Provision of Early Learning and Childcare (Specified Children) (Scotland) Order 20142 is amended as follows.

In article 1(2) (citation, commencement, interpretation and application), in the definition of “qualifying benefit”—
a
for “£7,320” substitute “£7,500”,
b
on each occasion where it appears, for “£610” substitute “£625”.
