The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 59(4) of the Coronavirus (Recovery and Reform) (Scotland) Act 2022(1).

Citation and commencement

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Coronavirus (Recovery and Reform) (Scotland) Act 2022 (Commencement No. 1) Regulations 2022 and come into force on 1 October 2022.

Appointed day

2.  The appointed day for the coming into force of sections 16 and 17 of the Coronavirus (Recovery and Reform) (Scotland) Act 2022 is 1 October 2022.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations bring into force sections 16 and 17 of the Coronavirus (Recovery and Reform) (Scotland) Act 2022 on 1 October 2022. Most other provisions of the Act, including all other provisions in Part 2, commence in accordance with section 59(1) to (3) of that Act.
