It shall be competent to any Sheriff, at any Time within Year and Day after any such Charge has expired, to cause any such Extract, and the Execution of Charge thereon, to be presented to the Sheriff Clerk of the County in which such Charge was given ; and such Sheriff Clerk shall thereupon record the Execution in the Register of Hornings kept by him, and state therein the Name and Designation of the Person by whom such Extract and Execution were presented, and the Date of the Presentation, which Registration shall have all the like Operation and Effect as the Registration of any expired Charge of Payment, in Terms of the [1 & 2 Vict. c. 114.] Act passed in the Session of Parliament holden in the First and Second Years of the Reign of Her present Majesty, intituled An Act to amend the Law of Scotland in Matters relating to Personal Diligence, Arrestments, and Poindings.
