Judicature (Northern Ireland) Act 1978, Section 105 is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 26 March 2025. There are changes that may be brought into force at a future date. Changes that have been made appear in the content and are referenced with annotations.
(1)Any person duly admitted as a solicitor in Northern Ireland or entitled to practise therein as a solicitor shall be an officer of the [F1Court of Judicature], but nothing in this subsection shall affect the operation of any statutory provision (including a provision contained in this Act) which imposes on officers of a court restrictions as to practice as solicitors.
(2)References in any statutory provision in force in Northern Ireland to attorneys or proctors shall be construed as references to solicitors of the [F1Court of Judicature].
