In section 79 of the 1977 Act there is inserted, at the end, the following subsection—

“(6A)

Every local authority shall, before the expiry of the period of three months beginning with the commencement of paragraph 44 of Schedule 25 to the Housing Act 1980, send to the president of the appropriate rent assessment panel the register previously kept by the authority under this section.”
