25 Interpretation and minor amendments and repeals.E+W+S
(1)In this Act—
“the Act of 1976” means the M1Health Services Act 1976;
“the Act of 1977” means the M2National Health Service Act 1977; and
“the Scottish Act of 1978” means the M3National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978.
X1(2)Schedule 12 to the Act of 1977 and Schedule 11 to the Scottish Act of 1978 (additional provisions as to regulations for the making and recovery of charges) shall be amended as provided in Parts I and II respectively of Schedule 5 to this Act.
X1(3)The minor amendments specified in Schedule 6 to this Act shall have effect.
X1(4)The enactments specified in Schedule 7 to this Act (which include enactments that are spent or unnecessary) are hereby repealed to the extent specified in the third column of that Schedule.
