The Commission shall constitute at least one committee to advise them on ancient monuments and at least one to advise them on historic buildings, and may constitute other committees to advise them on those or other aspects of their functions.

The Commission may include as members of committees persons who are not members of the Commission.

The Commission may regulate the proceedings (including quorum) of committees.

The Commission may pay to the members of any committee such reasonable allowances in respect of expenses or loss of remuneration as the Secretary of State may determine with the Treasury’s approval.
