In section 41 (restriction on effect of reduction of certain discharges of securities) at the end there shall be inserted the following subsection—

This section shall apply to an order under section 8 of the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1985 rectifying a discharge as it applies to a decree of reduction of a discharge.
