Part IV of the Housing Act 1985 (secure tenancies and rights of secure tenants) is amended as follows.

In section 100 (power to reimburse cost of improvements carried out by tenant), in subsection (2) (cost to be net of grant), for “or repairs grant” substitute “, repairs grant or common parts grant”.

In section 101 (rent not to be increased on account of improvements carried out by tenant), in the second part of subsection (1) (application of provision where improvement grant-aided), for “or repairs grant” substitute “, repairs grant or common parts grant”.
