Consequential amendments and repeals E+W

7 E+W In the Housing Act 1980, omit section 140.

8 E+W In the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980, omit section 156(3).

9 (1) The Local Government Act 1985 is amended as follows. E+W

(2) In Schedule 13 (application of local authority provisions to residuary bodies), in paragraph 14, after sub-paragraph (a) insert—

“(aa) paragraph 2 of Schedule 4A to the Leasehold Reform Act 1967;”and at the end of sub-paragraph (b) insert “and” and omit sub-paragraph (d) and the word “and” preceding it.

(3) In Schedule 14, omit paragraph 58(e).

10 E+W In Part IV of the Housing Act 1985 (secure tenancies), in section 115 (meaning of “long tenancy”), in subsection (2)(c) after “1980” insert “or paragraph 3(2)(b) of Schedule 4A to the Leasehold Reform Act 1967”.
