Chairman and Deputy ChairmenS
6(1)The Secretary of State shall appoint one of the members of Scottish Homes to be chairman and may appoint one or more to be deputy chairman or deputy chairmen; and the chairman and deputy chairmen shall, subject to the following provisions, hold and vacate those offices in accordance with the terms of their appointment.S
(2)The chairman or a deputy chairman may resign his office by written notice to the Secretary of State.
(3)If the chairman or a deputy chairman ceases to be a member of Scottish Homes, he also ceases to be chairman or a deputy chairman.
