Part I Amendment of the Transport Act 1968 (1968 c. 73)

After section 84(a) there shall be inserted—
aa
that, by virtue of a direction given by the authority under regulations made under section 86(2)(b) or (3) of this Act, a person is to be treated as having been the holder of an operator’s licence on any date;

For section 84(b) there shall be substituted—
b
the date of the coming into force of any operator’s licence granted by the authority;
bb
the date on which any operator’s licence granted by the authority ceased to be in force;

For section 84(f) there shall be substituted—
f
that an operator’s licence was on any date or during any specified period suspended by virtue of a direction given by the authority under section 69(1) of this Act;
g
that, by virtue of a direction given by the authority under regulations made under section 86(2)(a) of this Act, an operator’s licence is to be treated as having been suspended on any date or during any specified period,
