The Landlord and Tenant Act 1927 (c. 36) E+W

5 E+W In section 17(1) of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1927 (holdings to which Part I applies), for the words from “not being” to the end there is substituted “not being—

(a) agricultural holdings within the meaning of the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 held under leases in relation to which that Act applies, or

(b) holdings held under farm business tenancies within the meaning of the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995.”

6 E+W In section 19(4) of that Act (provisions as to covenants not to assign etc. without licence or consent), after “the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986” there shall be inserted “ which are leases in relation to which that Act applies, or to farm business tenancies within the meaning of the Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995 ”.
