Civil Contingencies Act 2004, Section 26 is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 16 April 2025. There are changes that may be brought into force at a future date. Changes that have been made appear in the content and are referenced with annotations.
(1)Emergency regulations shall lapse—
(a)at the end of the period of 30 days beginning with the date on which they are made, or
(b)at such earlier time as may be specified in the regulations.
(2)Subsection (1)—
(a)shall not prevent the making of new regulations, and
(b)shall not affect anything done by virtue of the regulations before they lapse.
