SCHEDULE 4School inspections in Wales under section 28

Interpretation

In this Schedule—

  • “appropriate authority” means—

    1. a

      in relation to a community, foundation or voluntary school, a community F2... special school or a maintained nursery school, the school's governing body or, if the school does not have a delegated budget, the F1local authority, and

    2. b

      in relation to a school falling within section 28(2)(d), the proprietor of the school;

  • “inspection” means an inspection under section 28.
