SCHEDULE 2 U.K. Functions in relation to labour market

Modern Slavery Act 2015 (c.30) U.K.

10 (1) Section 15 (slavery and trafficking prevention orders on application) is amended as follows. U.K.

(2) In subsection (1)—

(a) omit the “or” after paragraph (b);

(b) after paragraph (c) insert “, or

(d) the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority.”

(3) In subsection (7)—

(a) for “or the Director General”, in the first place it occurs, substitute “ , the Director General or the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority ”;

(b) for “or the Director General”, in the second place it occurs, substitute “ , the Director General or the Authority ”.

(4) In subsection (8)(b)—

(a) for “or the Director General”, in the first place it occurs, substitute “ , the Director General or the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority ”;

(b) for “or the Director General”, in the second place it occurs, substitute “ , the Director General or the Authority ”.
