The nominated undertaker may, in installing any electronic communications apparatus in exercise of the powers conferred by this Act—
a
provide additional capacity for electronic communications apparatus belonging to any other person;
b
construct any extension or other alteration of electronic communications apparatus in connection with providing such additional capacity.

In sub-paragraph (1), “electronic communications apparatus”—
a
has the meaning given by paragraph 5(1) of Schedule 3A to the Communications Act 2003, but
b
excludes any radio mast.
