Her Majesty in pursuance of section 735(1) of the Merchant Shipping Act 18941 is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Confirmation of Legislation) (Anguilla) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 8th July 1987.

The Merchant Shipping (Registry) Ordinance, 19862 is hereby confirmed.

This Order, made under section 735(1) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1894, confirms a Law enacted by the House of Assembly of Anguilla which repeals, in relation to the registration of ships in Anguilla, certain provisions of Part I of the Merchant Shipping Act 1894 regarding such registration.
