The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Her Majesty in pursuance of section 735(1) of the Merchant Shipping Act 18941, and of all other powers enabling Her in that behalf, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
1.
This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Confirmation of Legislation) (Gibraltar) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 8th July 1987.
2.
The Merchant Shipping (Amendment) Ordinance, 19872 is hereby confirmed.

By this Order the Queen in Council, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 735(1) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1894, confirms a Law enacted by the Legislature of Gibraltar by which, inter alia, certain provisions of that Act relating to ships registered in the Colony are repealed.
