The Weighing Equipment (Non-automatic Weighing Machines) Regulations 1988

1.  Subject to paragraphs 2 and 3 below, the prescribed limits of error expressed in terms of “e”, the relevant verification scale interval of the device under test, shall be those set out in the Table below.

Note When testing a weight indicating or printing device, in a weighing mode in which tare devices other than those within paragraph (b) of the definition of “tare device” in Regulation 2 above are operable, the ranges listed in column 4 of the Table shall be increased by the corresponding tare value.
