In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6(5) of the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Act 1991

the Secretary of State for Education and Science hereby makes the following Order:

1.

This Order may be cited as the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Act 1991 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1991.

2.

Sections 1, 4, 5 and subsections (1), (2), (4) and (5) of section 6 of, and Schedule 1 to, the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Act 1991 shall come into force on 22nd August 1991.
