Coming into force
The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 97(1)(a), 105(1), (2)(e) and (4) and 108(1)1 of the Road Traffic Act 19882, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 195(2) of that Act, and with the approval of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Regulations:

These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Large Goods and Passenger-Carrying Vehicles) (Amendment) (No. 4) Regulations 1991 and shall come into force on 1st February 1992.

The Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Large Goods and Passenger-Carrying Vehicles) Regulations 19903 shall be amended by substituting for Schedule 3 thereof Schedule 1 to these Regulations.

SCHEDULE 1
SCHEDULE 3FEES FOR LICENCES
Description of Licence
Fee
(1) A full licence for any category not being a licence falling in paragraph (2) or (3) below or a licence granted in exchange for a provisional licence (including a licence which is so treated under section 98 of the 1988 Act).

(4) A provisional licence not being a licence falling in paragraph (5) below. £21
(5) The first provisional licence granted to a person after he has been ordered to take a driving test under section 117 of the 1988 Act. £12
(6) A full lgv trainee driver’s licence for category C or an lgv trainee driver’s provisional licence for category C plus E granted to the holder of an hgv trainee driver’s full licence to drive heavy goods vehicles of class 2 or 3. £6
