The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Whereas it appears to Her Majesty that provision with respect to copyright has been made in the law of the Isle of Man otherwise than by extending the provisions of Part I of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 19881;

Now, therefore, Her Majesty, in pursuance of paragraph 36(3) of Schedule 1 to that Act, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

This Order may be cited as the Copyright (Isle of Man) (Revocation) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 1st July 1992.

The Copyright (Isle of Man) Order 19862 is hereby revoked.

This Order revokes the Copyright (Isle of Man) Order 1986, which extended the Copyright Act 1956 to the Isle of Man. It is made consequent on the enactment of legislation in the Isle of Man equivalent to Part I of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
