The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 30(3) of the Local Government Act 1992(1) and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Local Government Act 1992 (Commencement No.3) Order 1993.
(2) In this Order “the 1992 Act” means the Local Government Act 1992.
2. Section 11 of the 1992 Act so far as it relates to paragraph 12 of Schedule 1, and that paragraph, shall come into force on 6th January 1994.

This Order brings into force section 11 of the Local Government Act 1992, so far as it relates to paragraph 12 of Schedule 1 to the Act, and that paragraph, on 6th January 1994.Paragraph 12 of that Schedule amends section 6 of the Local Government Act 1988 (functional work: restrictions).
