The Combined Probation Areas (Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire) Order 1995

This Order may be cited as the Combined Probation Areas (Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire) Order 1995.

This Order shall come into force on 1st April 1996 save that, for the purpose of making appointments to the probation committee for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Probation Area, and of the committee’s making appointments to take effect on 1st April 1996, the Order shall come into force forthwith.

Schedule 2 to the Combined Probation Areas Order 1986 shall be amended by—

inserting after that part of the said Schedule which relates to the Nottinghamshire Probation Area—

This Order amends the Combined Probation Areas Order 1986 (S.I. 1986/1713) so as to combine in one probation area all the petty sessions areas of the probation areas of Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. The new area will be known as the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Probation Area, and the petty sessions areas combined in it will appoint a total of six justices to the committee for the new area. Previously, 9 justices were appointed to the Buckinghamshire Probation Committee, and 11 to the Oxfordshire Probation Committee.
