Coming into force

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 105(6) of and paragraph 25(1) of Schedule 7A to the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 19781 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, considering it appropriate in the interests of the health service as a whole to make this Order2, and after completion of the consultation prescribed under paragraph 25(3) of the said Schedule 7A3, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement1

This Order may be cited as the Scottish Ambulance Service National Health Service Trust (Dissolution) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 1st April 1999.

Dissolution of NHS Trust and consequent revocation2

The Scottish Ambulance Service National Health Service Trust established by the Scottish Ambulance Service National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 19944 is hereby dissolved, and accordingly that Order is hereby revoked.
