The Scottish Ambulance Service National Health Service Trust (Dissolution) Order 1999

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 105(6) of and paragraph 25(1) of Schedule 7A to the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, considering it appropriate in the interests of the health service as a whole to make this Order(2), and after completion of the consultation prescribed under paragraph 25(3) of the said Schedule 7A(3), hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Scottish Ambulance Service National Health Service Trust (Dissolution) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 1st April 1999.

Dissolution of NHS Trust and consequent revocation

2.  The Scottish Ambulance Service National Health Service Trust established by the Scottish Ambulance Service National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1994(4) is hereby dissolved, and accordingly that Order is hereby revoked.

Explanatory Note

This Order provides for the dissolution of the Scottish Ambulance Service National Health Service Trust on 1st April 1999.
