The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by paragraph 36(1), (2) and (3)(b) of Schedule 14 to the Access to Justice Act 1999(1) makes the following Order:
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Inner London Court Staff Pensions (Amendment) Order 2001 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.
(2) In this Order “the principal Order” means the Inner London Court Staff Pensions Order 2001(2).
2. In article 2(1) of the principal Order, for the words “the making of this Order” there shall be substituted the words “the commencement of this Order”.
3. As from the coming into force of this Order the principal Order shall have effect as if article 2(1) of that Order when made referred to the commencement instead of the making of that Order.

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order corrects an error in the Inner London Court Staff Pensions Order 2001 by providing that the reference in article 2(1) of that Order to people who, before the making of the Order, were regarded as members of the metropolitan civil staffs superannuation scheme is to be replaced by a reference to people who, before the commencement of the Order, were so regarded.
