Coming into force

1.  This Order may be cited as the A564 Trunk Road (Stoke-Derby Route) (Derby Southern Bypass, Derby Spur and Junctions) (Amendment) (England) Order 2001, and shall come into force on 7th September 2001.

2.  The Order specified in the Schedule to this Order shall have effect with the amendments contained in that Schedule.

THE SCHEDULEAMENDMENTS OF ORDER

In the A564 Trunk Road (Stoke-Derby Route) (Derby Southern Bypass, Derby Spur and Junctions) Order 1992(3), as amended by the A564 Trunk Road (Stoke-Derby Route) (Derby Southern Bypass, Derby Spur, Junctions and Slip Roads) Amendment Order 1994(4)—

(a)in article 2 for the words “and plan HA10/EM102” there are substituted the words “and plans HA10/EM102 and HA10/PS/229”;

(b)at the end of article 2 there is inserted—

(c)so much of the heavy black line indicating the centre line of the main new trunk road as relates to the roundabout on the A5111 Trunk Road (Raynesway) (the centre of which is given the reference letter (‘A’ on the deposited plan);

(d)so much of the heavy black line indicating the centre line of the main new trunk road as relates to the length of that road which lies between a point 35 metres east of point A on the deposited plan and a point 230 metres east of point A; and

(e)so much of the heavy black line indicating the centre line of the new trunk road as relates to the length of that road which lies between a point 1315 metres north of point B on the deposited plan and a point 1625 metres north of point B.;

(c)in article 4(2) after the definition of “the deposited plan” there is inserted—

(iB) “plan HA10/PS/229”means the plan numbered HA10/PS/229 marked “The A564 Trunk Road (Stoke-Derby Route) (Derby Southern Bypass, Derby Spur and Junctions) (Amendments) (England) Order 2001”, signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Highways Agency, St Christopher House, Southwark Street, London, SE1 0TE.

(d)in Schedule 1 for the words “given the reference letter ‘A’ on the deposited plan” there are substituted the words “given the reference letter ‘A’ on plan HA10/PS/229”;

(e)in Schedule 1 for the words “about 150 metres north” there are substituted the words “about 220 metres north-east”; and

(f)in Schedule 2 after paragraph 5 there is inserted—

6.  A route to connect the southbound carriageway of the A5111 Trunk Road (Raynesway) with the main new trunk road (given the reference letter ‘A’ on plan HA10/PS/229). This route is given the reference number 6 on plan HA10/PS/229.
