The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by paragraph 3A of Schedule 1 to the Public Records Act 1958(1), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is ordered, as follows:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Public Records (Technology Strategy Board) Order 2007

(2) This Order comes into force on 1st February 2008.

Amendment to Schedule 1 to the Public Records Act 1958

2.—(1) Schedule 1 to the Public Records Act 1958 (definition of public records) is amended as follows.

(2) In Part 2 of the Table at the end of paragraph 3, at the appropriate place insert—

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends Part 2 of the Table at the end of paragraph 3 of Schedule 1 to the Public Records Act 1958 by adding an entry for the Technology Strategy Board, in order to make the administrative and departmental records of that body public records.
