The Diseases of Fish (England and Wales) Order 2007

Coming into force

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 13(1) of the Diseases of Fish Act 19371, makes the following Order.

Title, extent and commencement1

This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Fish (England and Wales) Order 2007; it extends to England and Wales and comes into force on 6th April 2007.

Amendment of definition of “infected” in Diseases of Fish Act 19372

In the definition of “infected” in section 10(1) of the Diseases of Fish Act 19372, after “infectious salmon anaemia (ISA),” insert “Koi Herpesvirus Disease,”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

Article 2 of this Order amends the list of diseases in section 10(1) of the Diseases of Fish Act 1937 by adding Koi Herpesvirus Disease.
