Citation, commencement, extent and application1

This Order may be cited as the Landsbanki Freezing Order 2008 and comes into force at 10.10 a.m. on 8th October 2008.

This Order extends to the United Kingdom.

An offence may be committed under this Order by—
a
any person in the United Kingdom;
b
any person elsewhere who is—
i
a British citizen, a British overseas territories citizen, a British National (Overseas) or a British Overseas citizen;
ii
a person who under the British Nationality Act 19812 is a British subject;
iii
a British protected person within the meaning of that Act;
iv
a body incorporated under the law of any part of the United Kingdom.
