Section 19(1) of the Interests of Members of the Scottish Parliament Act 2006 (interpretation) is amended as follows.

Omit the definition of “the 1985 Act”.

In the definition of “company”, for “within the meaning of the 1985 Act” substitute “
as defined in section 1(1) of the Companies Act 2006

In the definitions of “parent undertaking” and “subsidiary undertaking” for “section 258 of the 1985 Act” substitute “
the Companies Acts (see section 1162 of the Companies Act 2006)
