Commencement of provisions2

The following provisions of the 2007 Act come into force on 31st March 2009—

a

in Part 9 (General), section 199(3), (5) to the extent that it is not already in force, (6)(a) in so far as it relates to section 53 of the 1990 Act and (6)(b) to the extent that it is not already in force, the definition of “conveyancing services” in section 207 and section 208(1);

b

in Schedule 16 (The Law Society, solicitors, recognised bodies and foreign lawyers)—
