The Electricity Act 1989 is amended as follows.

After section 5 M1 insert—
5ADuties of distribution exemption holders
Schedule 2ZA (which relates to the duties of distribution exemption holders) has effect.
5BDuties of supply exemption holders
Schedule 2ZB (which relates to the duties of supply exemption holders) has effect.

Before Schedule 2A M2 insert the Schedules set out in Schedule 2.
