The Armed Forces Act 200663 is amended as follows.

In section 384 (extent to Channel Islands, Isle of Man and British overseas territories) after sub-paragraph (2) insert—

Paragraph 5(ba) of Schedule 9 does not extend to the Isle of Man or the British overseas territories.

In Schedule 9 (assessors of compensation – removal from office)—
a
at the end of sub-paragraph 5(b) omit “or”;
b
after sub-paragraph 5(b) insert—
ba
has had a debt relief order made in respect of him (under Part 7A of the Insolvency Act 1986); or
