2. The following provisions of the Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013 come into force in Northern Ireland on 15th September 2014—
(a)section 1 (individual registration);
(b)section 2(1) to (5) (applications for registration and verification of entitlement etc);
(c)section 4 (annual canvass);
(d)section 5 (invitations to register);
(e)section 7 (power to amend or abolish the annual canvass);
(f)section 8 (consulting Electoral Commission about proposals under section 7);
(g)section 9 (piloting of changes to the annual canvass);
(h)section 12 (interpretation of Part 1);
(i)section 13(1) and (2) (amendments and transitional provision), so far as not already in force;
(j)Schedule 1 (register of electors: alterations and removal);
(k)Schedule 3 (civil penalty for failing to make application when required by registration officer);
(l)Schedule 4 (amendments to do with Part 1), with the exception of—
(i)paragraph 9(4)(b),
(ii)paragraph 10(5), and
(iii)paragraph 23, so far as it omits paragraphs 5 and 6(2) of Schedule 1 to the Electoral Administration Act 2006(1); and
(m)Schedule 5 (transitional provision to do with Part 1), so far as not already in force.
